Our Story

OCI Pravasi Seva was started with one simple idea — to help Pravasi Bharatiya get OCI Card and Indian Visa without confusion, without agents cheating, and without file rejection.

We have seen thousands of Pravasi families facing problems at Indian airports and VFS centres due to small mistakes in forms, photo size wrong, or wrong documents. Many times, they have to pay govt fees again.

As a former Bureau of Immigration Officer, I decided to use my government experience to help our own Pravasi community.

Today we help families from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe and Gulf countries for OCI, Indian Visa, Flights, Passport and Apostille services — all under one roof.

Mehul Vaghela

Founder — Former Bureau of Immigration Officer

SVPI Airport Ahmedabad & OCI Branch, FRRO Ahmedabad | BCA Graduate.

Mehul Vaghela is the founder of OCI Pravasi Seva. He served 5+ years in Bureau of Immigration (BOI), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.

His journey — which no other agent in Gujarat has:

  • Initial posting: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPI), Ahmedabad — immigration clearance for thousands of NRI and foreign nationals coming to Gujarat.
  • September 2018: Before this, all OCI work for Gujarat was at FRRO Mumbai. Govt. of India started OCI services at FRRO Ahmedabad for the first time. Mehul was transferred from SVPI Airport to FRRO Ahmedabad – OCI Branch as part of the first team.
  • At FRRO Ahmedabad: OCI Section — verifying OCI fresh applications, OCI renewal, PIO to OCI conversion, OCI re-issue for Gujarat region files. He knows the complete FRRO Ahmedabad process from inside.

Tejash Vaghela

Tejash Vaghela is the younger brother of Mehul and co-founder of OCI Pravasi. He is the backbone of our operations. While Mehul checks all OCI/Visa files technically, Tejash ensures that every client gets fast support, timely updates, and a smooth experience.
